Gotta love 24-hour library access the week before finals. Studying for my sociology final. And then chemistry after this. Although I'm considering just sleeping instead and studying tomorrow, since my chemistry exam is at night. Sociology is in the morning. I looked at my right hand just now and noticed that my bassoon calluses are going away, and I swear I almost started crying. Pathetic, right? I always had two that were pretty apparent. One from carrying the case all the time, and the other from the metal piece that's supposed to attach to the hand rest, but I never used one, so the metal thing just always rubbed against my hand whenever I played. They're still kind of there; the skin there is still slightly tougher than the rest. But it's very faint. Sad. It's called L'orchestre de l'Opéra by Degas. I saw it at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris a couple years back, and I was ridiculously excited at the time, for obvious reasons.
